KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with framing, roofing, and internal fit-outs
  • Supporting the installation of doors, windows, skirting boards, and cabinetry
  • Preparing and maintaining tools, materials, and work areas
  • Reading and interpreting plans and measurements
  • Working alongside qualified tradespeople and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS standards on-site
  • Participating in clean-up and site preparation tasks
  • Learning and applying carpentry techniques under supervision

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Currently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice in Carpentry & Joinery
  • Genuinely passionate about the building and construction industry
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Committed to safety and quality workmanship
  • Holds a current White Card and driver’s licence (preferred)
